CaL-WEST is a regional, sector-based consortium that is comprised of community colleges, businesses, and State Economic & Workforce Development representatives. As part of its knowledge-sharing activities, an array of training and support services that focus on the needs of the logistics industry has been developed. These support services are continually improved and refined in order to better serve CaL-WEST’s customers. Through positive collaboration, the project continues to serve incumbent and new employees as well as stakeholders involved in the field of logistics.

The CaL-WEST consortium includes agencies such as, but not limited to, the following: Workforce and Economic Development, Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, California State University at Dominguez Hills, Santa Monica College, Los Angeles City College, Long Beach Community College, Performance Team, JVS WorkSouce Center and the Westside Economic Collaborative.
